We are having a community revival this week through Friday March 14, 2008 and involving 5 churches in the community. We would like to see this revival spread for the future to include additional churches and extend for a longer period of time.
The schedule for this year's services is:
Monday 3/10/08 - Moore's Memorial Baptist Church
Tuesday 3/11/08 - Roadside Mission Baptist Church
Wednesday 3/12/08 - Meade's Chapel Baptist Church
Thursday 3/13/08 - Pleasant View Baptist Church
Friday 3/14/08 - Greenwood Baptist Church
The preaching will be by the pastors of each participating church, however the pastors will not be preaching at their own church. Please be much in prayer for this week of revival. We are looking for the Lord to do marvelous things through this week of worship and fellowship.
LORD, SEND A REVIVAL, AND LET IT BEGIN IN ME!!!!!!!!!!
*******UPDATE*******
On Tuesday night, Bro Patrick Johnson brought the evening's message at our church. Bro Patrick preached from Romans 12 (Presenting Ourselves To God). After the service had concluded and everyone had gone home, a young man called the youth director at his church (Greenwood Chapel) and asked the director to come to his house because he wanted to be saved. You can hear Bro Patrick's message at the link below.

On Wednesday night, Bro Eddie Taylor brought a most wonderful message on things that happen when you have been with Jesus. At the conclusion of the message, Bro Eddie gave an altar call and 2 precious young people gave their heart to the Lord.

Welcome to the web site of the Roadside Baptist Mission Church. We are a small Independent Baptist Church, nestled in the hills of Southwest Virginia. It is absolutely a blessing for us to be able to expand our ministry outreach in this manner. We hope and trust that God will use this ministry for the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to lift up the name of Jesus to people in need, to provide hope in this world. We preach and teach that there is hope in Jesus Christ and without him there is NO hope, for this life or eternity.
Our "The Pastor's Heart" page features articles about Christian living. We also have a page called "Times and Seasons" featuring art, stories, and articles pertaining to different seasons and holidays.
Our audio files are in MP3 and WMA format. Thank you from the bottom of our heart for taking the time to visit this website.
The Roadside Baptist Mission Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Pre-millennial Baptist Church. We encourage and practice the support of both domestic and foreign missionaries. We believe in public, family and private devotions and that worship should be a regular, family occurrence. We promote and use the King James Version of the Bible and believe that it is the complete, in-errant, in-fallible word of God, written by men as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit to do so. We believe that life begins at conception and that God only has the power and authority to give or take human life. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, plus nothing and minus nothing. We believe that Bible reading and prayer are essential to the growth of every Christian. We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, and that these three are one. We believe in water baptism as testimony of the new birth and membership in the local church body. We also believe it is the duty of every believer to spread the word of God to all people and to proclaim the testimony of Jesus Christ.
We welcome you to come and visit with us at Roadside. I believe that you will find us to be an outgoing, friendly group of people and that you will feel "at home" as you worship with us.

Sunday School - 10:00 a.m.
